The Ridgefield father whose son died in a hot car last summer has agreed to a plea deal in the case.
Benjamon Seitz died after being left all day in a car in July when his father forgot to drop him off at day care.
Kyle Seitz entered an Alford plea in court today. The plea means Seitz does not admit guilt, but agrees the state has enough evidence to convict him.
His attorney says the state has agreed to a suspended prison sentence in the case.
The deal will need to be approved by a judge when Seitz is formally sentenced in April.
