Ten tenants are still unable to return to their apartments after a fire in Stamford Monday.
Investigators say the third and fourth floors of the building on Glenbrook Road suffered the most smoke and fire damage. They say the building's automatic sprinkler system activated quickly helping to prevent the fire from spreading. Thirty-four fire fighters were called to the scene to help put out the fire.
All tenants were evacuated with most returning Tuesday morning. Those who could not return are receiving assistance from the Red Cross.
Investigators say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
