Inferno erupts inside basement in Borough Park building

A fire broke out late Thursday night, damaging a home in Kenilworth. No injuries were reported.

Video from the scene showed smoke coming off the home on Coolidge Drive. The fire ruined the siding on a house next door. Police say no one was home when the fire started.

Authorities say they don't believe the fire is suspicious. The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
