The Fordham University Lady Rams are headed to Massachusetts for a shot at their first Atlantic 10 Conference Softball Championship.

The second-seed Lady Rams, who finished 16-4 in conference play, boarded a bus bound for Amherst Tuesday. They'll have their first match Thursday, May 10 against the winner of the first round between the University of Saint Louis and George Washington University.

The University of Massachusetts Amherst is the team to beat. UMass earned its 19th regular season title and the top seed in the 2007 A-10 softball tourney. The Lady Rams lost to the Minutewomen in the last two title games.
