Former Greenwich priest sentenced for theft
A former Greenwich priest will spend five months in jail for stealing church money and hiding it in secret accounts.
Michael Moynihan resigned in 2007 as pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Parish.
He pleaded guilty last year to obstructing a federal investigation.
He must also pay back $400,000 to the Diocese of Bridgeport.
