Fund established to help family of murder victim
As police continue to search for the killer of a Norwalk man, family members of the victim are trying to help each other with a special fund.
Larry Paulk, 51, was gunned down on Christmas night in the Roodner Court housing complex. Family members say Paulk was visiting his mother when he was killed. According to relatives, Paulk was fatally shot after telling two young men to stop smoking marijuana in the hallway.
Meanwhile, a wreath and candles mark the spot in the building where Paulk was gunned down.
?We?re trying to deal with it. We never had a loss before like this,? Paulk?s niece, LaQuanda Paulk, says. ?We?re trying to cope with it. It?s hard.?
Paulk?s extended family set up a memorial fund to help his immediate family. Anyone interested in contributing to the Larry Paulk Family Trust can do so at any Bank of America branch.
