Grace Farms Alliance has donated 1 million pieces of personal protective equipment to front-line workers in their fight against the coronavirus.
Grace Farms Foundation is known for its 80 acre preserve in New Canaan, and has shared its mission to "advance good" in the world.
The foundation's local and global partners formed the alliance to raise more than $2.5 million which was used to source and distribute personal protective equipment to those on the front lines.

The equipment was distributed to Connecticut hospitals and assisted living facilities, as well as first responders and testing sites over the course of three weeks.
Grace Farms Foundation Nature Initiative Director Mark Fowler says deliveries of the equipment wouldn't be possible without the help of volunteers like New Canaan firefighters who are giving of their time everyday.
Gov. Ned Lamont says he's thankful to work with partners like Grace Farms for stepping up to help front line workers during the public health crisis.
