Seven years ago, one southwestern Connecticut school took in 13 displaced students from New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana.
Every year since the hurricane, students from the Convent of the Sacred Heart School in Greenwich travel to New Orleans to learn about one of the deadliest and most devastating hurricanes in history, and help rebuild the city.
The school's staff says it is ready to offer any help it can give if Hurricane Isaac proves to be as bad.
