Heinous sexual assault leaves Stamford police searching for predator

Stamford police are searching for a man that sexually assaulted a woman in a parking garage in front of her children. The attack took place at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Stamford Tuesday afternoon.

Stamford police are searching for a man that sexually assaulted a woman in a parking garage in front of her children.
The attack took place at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Stamford Tuesday afternoon. The 40-year-old woman was leaving with her two children after their swimming lessons at the hotel pool. Police say the man approached them with a gun, forced the woman into her car and sexually assaulted her. Her children were nearby during the attack.
Police say the woman?s repeated screams brought attention to the scene and scared the man off. Other people heard the screams and called 911. The woman was taken to Stamford Hospital.Anyone with information is asked to call the Stamford Police Department.
