A young Bethel mother killed in a hit-and-run was laid to rest Thursday.
Police say 23-year-old Rachel Sack was crossing the intersection of South Street and Great Pasture Road in Danbury when the crash happened Saturday. They are now asking for the public's help in locating the driver.
Signs have been posted along the road, showing the victim's picture and offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible. Police have also released surveillance photos of a white van with ladders on the roof, claiming the driver could be a person of interest.
Sack's family says they have set up an education fund for her 10-week-old son, Jackson.
