The attorney for Fotis Dulos released a picture of the note found at the scene of what turned out to be his client's suicide in Farmington.
The note reportedly was found in Dulos' car inside his garage.
In the one-page note, Fotis Dulos maintained his innocence in the murder of his estranged wife Jennifer.
It says in part, "If you are reading this I am no more, I refuse to spend even an hour more in jail for something I had NOTHING to do with. Enough is enough. If it takes my head to end this, so be it."
Dulos also mentions co-defendants Michelle Troconis and Kent Mawhinney, saying they too had nothing to do with Jennifer Dulos' disappearance and presumed death.
Dulos' attorney has filed a motion, asking the courts to still try the case against Dulos, saying his family wants to clear his name.
