Kids celebrate National Crafting month in Norwalk
Kids in Norwalk got to celebrate the history of crafting this past weekend.
The event was held Sunday at the Norwalk Historical Society.

Kids learned about Native American culture and made story bags and quilts.

They also created a poppy garden and learned that poppies symbolize sleep and peace.

Organizers say the event was held to celebrate National Crafting Month while teaching kids in a fun way.
