Lamont: CT coronavirus cases climb to 11,510, death toll at 494

Gov. Ned Lamont announced an additional 972 coronavirus cases in the state on Saturday, bringing Connecticut's total to 11,510.
The governor says 1,593 patients have been hospitalized and there have been 494 fatalities. That includes 46 new deaths since yesterday, according to state data.
In the state, a total of 39,831 people have been tested for COVID-19 so far.
Fairfield County remains the hardest hit in the state, with the highest number of cases and fatalities.
