A local lawmaker is working on an initiative to help ex-convicts re-enter society. State Rep. Charlie Stallworth (D-Bridgeport) says he wants to help recently freed prisoners find jobs and housing.

Lawmaker looks to help ex-cons re-enter society
A local lawmaker is working on an initiative to help ex-convicts re-enter society.
State Rep. Charlie Stallworth (D-Bridgeport) says he wants to help recently freed prisoners find jobs and housing.
He says that will be the focus of his second term as president of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance (IMA).
The state lawmaker says society isn't doing enough to help ex-offenders return to life outside of prison.
