(AP) - The question of whether independent SenatorJoe Lieberman will still caucus with Democrats seems very muchunresolved.
The senator who ran for vice-president with Al Goreeight years ago has angered many in the Democratic party for hisfull-throated support for John McCain.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who met with Lieberman Thursday,has issued a statement saying no official decisions have been made.Reid says he's leaning toward removing Lieberman as chairman of theSenate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
Lieberman says he's looking at his options.
Republicans say they would welcome Lieberman to their caucus.
