List of September 11 Ceremonies in Connecticut
Norwalk
On Monday, September 11, 2017 Norwalk will hold its annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at City Hall. It will be on the front plaza of City Hall at 8:30 a.m. Please join Mayor Rilling, the Common Council and our first responders as Norwalk remembers our own.  (in case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the Norwalk Concert Hall)
Darien
The Monuments & Ceremonies Commission of the Town of Darien, invites the public to participate in the town's annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony with Commissioner Phil Kraft serving as Master of Ceremonies.
Following tradition, the Darien Monuments and Ceremonies Commission will observe 9/11 on Monday, Sept. 11 at 8:30 a.m. at the 9/11 memorial located behind Middlesex Middle School, 204 Hollow Tree Ridge Road, Darien.  Josh Doying, a Darien High School graduate brought the town's 9/11 monument to fruition.
A wreath and red roses will be placed and a moment of silence will be observed at 8:46 a.m., the time the first plane struck the Tower on September 11, 2001.
Bridgeport
Mayor Ganim, Fire Chief Thode and Police Chief Perez will honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001 with moments of silence at 8:46 a.m.
All fire houses throughout the city will host a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m.
New Canaan
Please join us for The Town of New Canaan's annual ceremony to remember the events and those lost on September 11 at 9:30 a.m. at Town Hall Front Steps.
Wilton
Wilton Firefighters Local 2233 and the Wilton Fire Department will host their annual remembrance ceremony on Monday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. The community is invited to the event that honors the Wilton residents and all emergency responders who were killed in the attacks on that day in 2001.
Wilton firefighters, police officers, EMS responders, family members and friends of those lost on that day will again gather at Wilton Fire Headquarters at 236 Danbury Road to pay tribute.
The ceremony will take place at the 9/11 Memorial Monument in front of the firehouse. "We gather each Sept. 11th to pay our respects to those civilians who were killed, as well as to honor the firefighters, police officers and heroic Americans we lost in New York City, Shanksville, Pa., and at the Pentagon," said firefighter David Chaloux, President of Wilton Firefighters Local 2233. "We must never forget the thousands of innocent men and women who went to work that day and never returned home."
Members from all of Wilton's emergency services will participate in the ceremony which will feature tributes to those lost, prayers from local clergy, and music performed by members of the Wilton Police and Fire Departments.
The ceremony is expected to conclude by 11 a.m. and will be followed by refreshments and reflections at the firehouse.
Greenwich
The Greenwich September 11th Memorial will be holding the third annual Remembrance Service, on Monday, September 11, beginning at 5:00 p.m., at Cos Cob Park rain or shine. The event is open to the public and all are welcomed.
Fairfield
9/11 Remembrance Ceremony to be held at 9 a.m. at Fire Headquarters.
