The Local Moms Network and Greenwich Moms created 'Halloween in a Box' kits to celebrate Halloween during the pandemic.
The organization says it reached out to local businesses to offer products in a box so that kids could have safe spooky fun at home.
They sold out of 100 "Halloween in a Box" kits in a week.
The boxes sold for $85 and for every five boxes sold, they donated one box to a needy family.
The Local Moms Network is nationwide organization with 100 editorial sites all run by moms.
They say they plan on offering kits now for other holidays.
