Loss of free dental clinics unnerves parents

Plans to close school dental clinics in the Bronx are drawing outrage from parents of children who depend on the services.
Parents at P.S. 21 say they fear they'll have nowhere to turn once the oral-health program at the school is discontinued. Parents are calling on the city to reverse its decision to shut the programs down to help close the budget gap.
Officials say school- and community-based dental clinics in the Bronx provided services to nearly 3,000 kids in 2008.
