A man is accused of an armed robbery at a Southport liquor store, police say.
The incident happened on Friday around 8:49 p.m.
Police say the man was wearing a ski mask when he pulled out a silver-colored gun and demanded cash.
The clerk gave the man an undetermined amount of cash before the suspect ran away.
Police say he was last seen walking east on Kings Highway.
Three employees and a customer were all inside of the store during the incident.
The manager of the store says it's the fifth time in 10 years that the store has been robbed
Police describe the suspect as a black male who was wearing a blue-colored ski mask, a baggy blue-colored  jacket and blue-colored  jeans.
Officers used a K-9 unit to attempt to track the suspect, but were not successful, they say.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Fairfield Police Detectives Bureau at (203) 254-4840.
