A man is facing charges after allegedly leading police on a chase early Saturday morning.
Police say just after 12:30 a.m. an officer saw a car speeding through a red light in downtown Stamford. The officer tried to stop the car but it drove onto I-95. The chase was called off due to the suspect’s dangerous driving.
The driver, identified as Jose Barraza, eventually crashed in the parking lot of the America's Best Inn.
Barraza was charged with unsafe driving.
