Police say an Oceanside man is accused of going to his neighbor's house and pointing a shotgun at the homeowner.
According to police, a man answered a knock on the door of his Pearl Street home to discover 26-year-old Ryan Mueller pointing a 12-gauge shotgun at his head.
Police say the victim quickly closed the door and Mueller took off.
Officers then showed up to Mueller's house, which is about a mile away, and arrested him.
Police say they found two assault rifles, six high-capacity magazines, a long gun, a switch-blade knife and fireworks.
Mueller is being charged with eight counts of criminal possession of a weapon. His attorney told News 12 that all of the guns were legally registered.
