Police say a man died on the railroad tracks in Milford Tuesday evening in an apparent suicide.
Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) police have not released the name of the man, who was in his 30s. According to police, the man stepped onto the tracks and faced the train underneath the overpass on School House Road near I-95.
Service was stopped for approximately one hour after the incident occurred just after 7 p.m. MTA representatives say the railroad is now running on or close to schedule.
