Police were on the scene of a shooting Tuesday night in Bridgeport, but remained tight-lipped about details. Authorities say one man was shot, but his condition is unknown. The shooting happened around 7:45 p.m. on Fairfield Avenue. Officers blocked off the area surrounding the shooting while they investigated.

No arrests have yet been made. Authorities say they are just starting their investigation.
