A man from Port Chester is recovering after he was struck by lightning in Stamford.
It happened during Saturday's intense storms.
Officers say the 30-year-old was fishing with his brother at Cove Island Park when lightning hit his fishing pole Saturday.
They say he briefly stopped breathing and suffered burns on his torso.
They say the man is in serious condition and doctors plan to transfer him to Bridgeport Hospital's burn unit.
