Man who caught fire in Bridgeport remains critical
Hospital officials say the man who caught fire Thursday remains in critical condition and is fighting for his life. Firefighters say 23-year-old Justin Hervey's SUV burst into flames in a parking lot Thursday at Tunxis Hill Park. Authorities say the part-time Fairfield University student caught fire and ran onto the baseball field during Little League practice as a group of kids looked on in stunned silence. Little League officials say they altered their schedule so the players who saw the incident would not be back at the same field today. Eyewitness Beth-Ann Harter, who lives next door to the field, says the image of Hervey on fire is seared into her memory. She says two coaches took the lead in the emergency response, putting their own lives in danger to help extinguish the victim.Man catches fire at Fairfield Little League gameCoaches, Little League fathers act quickly after man catches fire
