A Bridgeport man accused of shooting a state marshal was arraigned on attempted murder charges Wednesday.
According to police, two state marshals arrived at 434 Indian Ave. Tuesday night to serve Lonnie Anderson, 26, a warrant for failing to pay child support. They say Anderson took out a gun and opened fire, shooting one marshal in the forearm and leg.
During his arraignment, Anderson remained stone-faced and silent, looking straight ahead while the judge read the charges against him.
Anderson's bond has been set at $750,000.
