Mechanics in southwestern Connecticut are busy repairing vehicles damaged by potholes as spring approaches.
The manager of Currie Tire Norwalk says potholes are a definite boon for his business, and that early spring is the busiest time of year because potholes are so prevalent.
Tim Currie says customers come in with blown or damaged tires, cracked rims, and alignment and front end issues, all of which can be pretty detrimental to your wallet.
Currie says in some cases, customers have actually gotten municipalities to reimburse them for the damages by taking photos of their tires and the potholes that caused the problem.
