Michael J. Clocks: Bridgeport's timekeeper of the future
A Bridgeport native is making quite a name for himself by turning scrap electronics into works of art.
It's not just a clever name. Michael J. Clocks has built more than 75 futuristic looking clocks out of old parts and is beginning to catch a buzz in southwestern Connecticut.
"People knew me as the clock guy before," says Clocks. "They're getting more and more familiar with my work."
Prices for Clocks' creations start at a couple hundred dollars and up.
