Michelle Obama came to Connecticut Thursday to campaign for Gov. Dannel Malloy.
The first lady attended a rally for Malloy and other Democrats in New Haven at Wilbur Cross High School. Residents packed the school's gym after waiting outside since the early morning hours.
Her message to the crowd of about 2,400 people was simply to go out and vote on Nov. 4. Malloy's campaign says it was a great honor to have the first lady during this important time, but it is hard to tell what her impact will be on the election.
The president is also set to rally for Malloy this Sunday in Bridgeport.
