A Middletown man accused of throwing his 7-month-old son off of a bridge into the Connecticut River has made his first court appearance. Middletown police say 22-year-old Tony Moreno, is facing murder

Middletown man accused of throwing son off bridge appears before judge
A Middletown man accused of throwing his 7-month-old son off of a bridge into the Connecticut River has made his first court appearance.
Middletown police say 22-year-old Tony Moreno, is facing murder charges after he threw the child off a bridge, and then jumped into the water.
It happened earlier in July.
Moreno's attorney asked the judge for more time to prepare for a probable cause hearing. 
The judge continued the case until September.
