A Milford mom faces serious charges Friday after an alleged drunken incident with her 2-month-old baby at the Connecticut Shoppingtown Mall.According to police, 37-year-old Stacey Malin left her baby inside a store at the mall for about 15 minutes. Store employees noticed the baby and called security, but before they could get there Malin returned and got the child. As she left the mall police say she tripped over the stroller, forcing the baby to be ejected and hit its head in the parking lot. Police say Malin was intoxicated the whole time.The baby was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital fore treatment and has since been turned over to its father. Meanwhile, Malin was charged with risk of injury to a minor and reckless endangerment. She is being held on $50,000 bond.
