(5/18/06) MILFORD ? A Milford elementary school has suspended a 10-year-old student for allegedly creating a ?kill list? that contained the names of two fellow students.
Parents at John F. Kennedy Elementary School are outraged, not only because of the alleged list itself, but because of the school district?s slow response to the issue. Some parents believe they should have been notified about the situation immediately and not a week later.
Although the school district would not give an on-camera interview, the principal of the school released a letter to parents. In the letter the principal explained that he only communicates disciplinary matters to parents whose children are involved. The principal also stated that no weapons were found on the student and the school is safe.
Police have charged the student with breach of peace.
