More than 600 children from around the city took to the ice in Prospect Park for a day of free skating.

For the 14th year in a row, children skated at LeFrak Center, where there were also refreshments, including hot chocolate. The day was organized by the Department of Youth & Community Development.

For some, it was their first time skating.
