Mosholu Library reveals new greenhouse
The Mosholu Library in the Bronx unveiled a new greenhouse Monday for readers in the community.
Nicole Celic, a library employee, submitted plans for a greenhouse in a contest held by the Mosholu Library. Each year, the contest lets employees pitch projects to bring the community back to the books.
"I just see this huge big back space back here that we never utilize and I was thinking it would be cool if we had a greenhouse," Celic said.
Winners of the contest receive money through the Charles H. Revson Foundation. The greenhouse project won approximately $2,000.
Celic hopes the greenhouse will encourage both kids and adults to read outside.
