The pandemic has been hard on nonprofits, forcing many organizations to get creative with fundraising.
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is hosting the MDA Kevin Hart Kids Telethon this Saturday. The virtual event will be hosted by the comedian.
It will feature appearances by many stars, including Bryan Cranston, Jack Black, Josh Gad, Michael B. Jordan, David Beckham and more.
Organizers say COVID-19 made it difficult to raise money to support clinics in Connecticut and research.
The telethon will stream live on multiple platforms including YouTube and Facebook, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday. For more information, click here.
