#N12BK: Dog poop
A new study released by RealtyHop is shining a light on the dog poop problem in the five boroughs, as well as others cities in the United States.
The study says there there are 84,000 registered dogs in New York City, and the Department of Health estimates that is just 20 percent of the total dog population.
The Bronx came in as the borough with the most unique poop complaints per square mile in 2017.
Soundview topped the list as the dirtiest area in the city. Cypress Hills in Brooklyn came in at No. 3.
The cleanest areas in the city were Stuyvesant Town-Cooper Village in Manhattan, Brooklyn Heights-Cobble Hill in Brooklyn and Co-op City in the Bronx.
