New Canaan police believe two men arrested in Westport are behind more than a dozen break-ins that have menaced residents over the past month.Police say the latest robbery took place Friday night when two men broke into a house on Mill Road, stealing five guns. Investigators say when the owner came home he found his house had been ransacked. A watch was stolen, along with shotguns and a semi-automatic rifle that neighbors say the resident?s son hunted with. Police believe 22-year-old Anthony Barbera and 26-year-old Randall Weis, who were arrested Monday, are involved in many other burglaries that have taken place since mid-November.Police are urging residents to take precautions such as setting their alarms and leaving lights on in their houses when they are not home.
