New Canaan students return to class since beginning of pandemic

Students in New Canaan are returning back to the classroom today for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic.

Students in New Canaan are returning back to the classroom today for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic.
Students in grades K-12 which are designated to cohort X will return to class today.
Although classess are starting with in person full-time, students can still choose to do distance learning.
Students have been assigned to cohorts based on their last name.
Today, all kindergartners, both a.m. and p.m. and grades 1-12 cohort X only will head back to class.
Cohort Y will return to class tomorrow.
Students and staff are all required to wear face masks and desks will be spaced at least 3 feet apart from each other.
Students and staff are required to take their temperatures daily.
Orange, Amity Regional, and several school districts in Litchfield County will also return to class today.
