For team captain Sean Davis, that means finding ways to keep the guys virtually connected.
“When I was named captain, I definitely thought of things more from a sporting side, but again, I'm thinking about the health and wellbeing of the team, the staff, the players.

Davis was born in Long Branch and raised in Holmdel. He played at Duke before signing with the Red Bulls back in 2014.
“It was a proud moment for not only myself but also my family, they have supported me so much over the years, they've always had belief in me,” says Davis.
Even with the current restrictions, professional athletes still need to train, and Davis says the team has come up with creative home workouts.

“I think you know the New York Red Bulls have done a great job not just internally but also with the community so they developed a program where they can shoot out videos every single week to allow players, young players, youth players to continue to train,” says Davis. “It gives them different ideas and different ways they can improve.”
Davis also stresses the importance of mental health right now. He says it's important to stay connected.
