Nonprofit campaigns for Dominican-American voter registration
A Bronx nonprofit is working to get American citizens of Dominican descent registered to vote ahead of this year's presidential election.
Dominicanos USA launched this year's get out and vote campaign with a barrage of volunteers making phone calls, knocking on doors and organizing events to get Dominican-Americans voting.
Organizers say they promote civic engagement, voter registration and education.
Unregistered citizens have until Oct.14 to register to vote in November's elections.
