Nonprofit in Norwalk holds food packing event

A nonprofit in Norwalk continued its mission this weekend to fight childhood hunger by holding a food packing event.
Since its inception in 2013, Filling in the Blanks has aimed to put an end to childhood hunger. It provides weekend meals to children in need.
The nonprofit operates solely with volunteers and donations. According to organizers, the program has delivered more than 100,000 bags across Fairfield County.
