? Two Norwalk police officers are suffering from side affects of antibiotics after being exposed to a deadly strain of meningitis.
Authorities say the veteran officers have been out on leave for the past week after they tried to help a 39-year-old man who was ill. The victim later died at Norwalk Hospital from a rare and deadly strain of meningitis, according to doctors. Fellow officers say they are praying that the men do not contract the disease and hope to see them back on the job soon.
About 12 other people who came in contact with the victim are also taking antibiotics.
