Norwalk?s mayor is meeting with business owners Monday to discuss recent increases to the cost of parking at several lots in South Norwalk.

Merchants have complained that the increased fees have impacted their ?bottom-lines.? Mayor Dick Moccia says he's hoping to come up with a plan that benefits the local merchants but doesn't drain the city's budget. One idea includes the city providing manpower with police directing traffic, but business leaders pay for the service. The mayor also suggested implementing a shuttle service between the Maritime garage and Webster Street area.
