Norwalk's Board of Estimate and Taxation has voted to reallocate funds to the city's public school budget, days after school Superintendent Susan Marks proposed a budget plan cutting numerous programs.
Norwalk Mayor Dick Moccia says the reallocated funds could save music, band and sports, and keep kindergarten to a full day.
A Board of Education meeting will be held Tuesday and a public hearing will be held on June 11.
