Organizers of the 32nd annual Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival say they?re ready for the thousands expected to attend this weekend?s culinary festivities.

More than $20,000 in cash will be given out to the greatest grillers throughout the weekend. The event will host its first-ever barbecue pit competition this weekend. About 30 grillers are set to compete.

Concerts, amusement park rides and many other dishes are also part of the event. The Oyster Festival runs through Sunday, rain or shine.
