Norwalk police say they're investigating a 911 call made early this morning that turned out to be a possible false report.
Police say they responded to a house on Kendall Court at 4 a.m. where someone said there was a distraught person at the home.
Officers say the dispatcher then heard what sounded like gunshots.
Police say they evacuated neighbors, but later found the incident was not what it seemed.
They say if detectives find this was a prank, they may file charges.
