Kylee Perry, 16, won the 50-meter women's freestyle at the YMCA National Swimming and Diving Championship.
Perry started competitive swimming when she joined the Wilton YMCA Wahoos swim team at 11 years old.
Since then, she has continued practicing six or seven days a week.
She says she hopes to one day make an Olympic team.
