Business owners and officials in Norwalk celebrated the long-awaited opening of a city street Saturday.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony reopened Cedar Street, the area that has undergone an 11-year redesign and renovation.
The celebration included live music, food and activities for kids. 
Mayor Harry Rilling says the new, environmentally friendly village district should be a model for neighborhoods all across the country.
