Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident involving a child Saturday night.
It happened on Washington Avenue in Bridgeport.
Official reports say a Ford Edge hit the child while on a bike and then fled the scene.
Police are now searching for that vehicle and a suspect.
There is no word yet on the condition of the child.
