Bridgeport firefighters say they responded to a building Friday after chemicals were released.

Firefighters said in a Tweet that they were responding to Coggswell Street around 9 a.m. for the release of chemicals inside of a building. 

Officials say the chemical was defined as a glue substance.

Officials did not say if anyone suffered injuries.
